Golden Louis Vuitton Vintage Padlock with matching key, this is padlock number 228, Made in France and was the standard padlock that came with many of Vuitton's lockable models that had golden hardware. Louis Vuitton do not have their Padlocks available for general retail, a model that is designed to be locked needs to be taken into the store where a matching Padlock is then special ordered for the piece - and even as a special order, this stunning edition is no longer available. This is a fully functional padlock but also works beautifully as a bag charm, necklace pendant or keyring accessory.
