First introduced into the LV fold by Henri Vuitton in 1966, the Papillon has become one of Louis Vuitton’s most endearing models - classic Vuitton, she’s a mainstay and bound to become a firm favourite in any collection. As the name suggests, the perfectly rounded shape and elegant dual thin grained leather straps of this beauty are inspired by the spirit of the butterfly. Perfectly rounded and roomy, this is cute enough for day and stylish enough to be a charming companion at night and the durable Monogram outer and tonal grained leather lining mean that this can happily function as an everyday bag and is not as fragile as models that incorporate Vernis or Vachetta. Not too many Papillon models come up here and this lovely edition also sports the miniature LV D-ring on the interior that a smaller accessory can be clipped to.
